How Your Donations Help
When a dog is up for rescue, it is usually because it is sick; it has a limp, or is coughing, or something is wrong with its eyes, its teeth need cleaning if it is old, etc. These are the dogs we take in. We get them in, get them well, feed them, get them spayed or neutered and get them adopted (hopefully). The vet bills on one dog (even with discounts) can get pretty high with meds, x-rays, IV fluids, valley fever and tick fever tests, etc. and even though our adoption fees go towards their care, it does not cover everything. Some dogs need special food and ongoing medicine and supplements. Sometimes we need to board dogs if the foster can no longer keep their dog. We need crates, training collars and other supplies. Your donations supplement our adoption fees and help the dogs who have more complicated medical issues. 100% of all the money that comes in goes directly to the animal’s welfare.
